BIOGRAPHY

TRIMEGISTO was founded in the beginning of the year 2000 in Chile by ex-members of cult bands such as DOMINUS XUL and SHEOLGEENA. The band started with the intention to combine darkness, brutality and atmosphere to create the essence of DEATH METAL. TRIMEGISTO quickly earned some attention within the Chilean underground scene. In 2004 they released the first demo called "Chaos Contemplation".

Through the years TRIMEGISTO played many shows with Chilean bands such as MELEKTAUS, SADISM, SHEOLGEENA, DEFACING and many more... and also shared the stage with the US Death Metal veterans CANNIBAL CORPSE. Then the band wrote new material which was released through OBSCURE DOMAIN productions in 2008. The debut album "Subterranean Streams" is an awesome piece of unholy, obscure, atmospheric and brutal Death Metal the way it was meant to be...

Spanish artist Juanjo Castellano created the amazing artwork for "Subterranean Streams" and did also the layout for the album.... and he surely did a killer job !!!
